Well there we are Some

01.31
Well, there we are. Some interesting breakdowns & tasty clams, but no complete collapses. Were I to have been in the audience, much hooting of amusement would have been in order. Onstage, much quiet hooting was in order.

New strings on the gold Fernandes.

Ade & I have been discussing last night. Overall, it was very quiet onstage & off which equated to a seeming lack of power. We're looking at hanging a drape to catch the stage sound flying off the ceiling & redirecting itself back onto the singer. This will allow us to increase the stage volume. Also, the set list didn't quite catch the flow, and its punctuation didn't help the flow which it did have. Add to this a sudden & unexpected change in the set list (I went into "Oyster Soup" instead of TCOL) and the performance didn't quite unfold as anticipated.

That's why stage shows have previews & Crimson has dress rehearsals.

And a belated thank you for good wishes, and Peter Sinfield's kind words, on the DGM Guestbook.
